my mums name was shirley o'brien she was also known as memmott. She died on the 22nd of febuary
2005 she was age 54 when she passed away. She worked in st annes hospice until she got diagnosed
with ovarian cancer in 2001. She lived in heald green stockport she had 8 sisters 3 brothers 4
daughters 11 grandchildren and 2 son in laws and she also had a loving husband.
shirley was always happy to help others, she was a brilliant mother and nana and a loving daughter
and sister also a fantastic wife. She always knew how to make others smile when they were down, she
was fun to be around she never had a bad word to say about anyone. she was always running around at
work. she enjoyed taking long walks to see family members, she was also out going and never afraid
to try anything new.
shirley ment a lot to her family she was loved as a mother nana sister auntie daughter and wife.she
is sadly missed by all we know she is in a better place free from pain there is not a day goes by
when we do not think about her. she will always be in are hearts and thoughts and never forgot.
hey auntie shirley . no ones wrote on here for a while so thought i would . love ya so much and miss you . have such nice memories of you like sleeping at urs with kim all 3 of us in your squashed girlie chats and then early mornings tut lol . but it was all so nice . you gave us some where to stay when we moved down here and thankful for that , just wish you was still here to see al your family growin and ever expandin with more kids lol . keep smiling down from heaven love you .. x x

hiya mum just wanted to come and let you know that we are thinking of you today as we do everyday cant believe you have been gone 4 years since you were took away from us we still miss you like mad and would give anything to have you here with us again you were our tower of strength and you were always there to help us in our time of need you were the best mum anyone could of wanted and we love you so much hope you john and everyone else up there are ok and having fun love you lots and lots miss you lots and lots love from nicols and family xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

i wish you were here in person for me to say that to you . cant beleiev its nearly 4 years since you went to heaven . loved you so much and still do . got so many happy memories of you . when you took us in when we had no where to go and you were so kind and that . then you found your soul mate and he was the best because you really did deserve the best . i really miss you , just glad i got to know you and help you when you were ill , me you and kim all having our girly nights in, and our long long walks and havin to get up early but oh well it was fun and i miss you so much knowin i wont see you again breaks my heart but when i grow my angel wings i know ul be waitin for me . love you so so much . xxx
